Support our work
The Magdalena Consort has charitable status. It is run entirely by volunteers, and its administration costs are minimal. Even so, in these difficult economic times, many concert promoters have difficulty offering fees which cover the costs of a performance, so that our ability to plan concerts which are accessible to a wide audience and to perform free of charge for hospice patients is dependent on private donations.
Please consider supporting the further work of the Magdalena Consort. Your gift could help bring music into the lives of people to whom it will make a real difference.
Join the 'Bach Family'
Our Bach Family members give vital support to the whole range of our activities, from public concerts to charitable performances in hospices. As a Bach Family member (suggested minimum donation £60 per annum) you will receive advance information on forthcoming concerts and regular updates on what your money has enabled us to do, as well as an invitation to join us at our annual 'Tea and Madeleines' party.
To make a donation, and to join the Bach Family, please return the completed application form with your gift to the address indicated. If you are a UK tax payer, please tick the Gift Aid box, since this substantially increases the value of your donation to us. If you pay higher-rate tax, you can claim extra relief on your donation.
Become involved with a Magdalena Consort project
You may also help to finance a specific concert or recording. We invite higher-level supporters to become closely associated with the project they have made possible, offering them opportunities to discuss the music with the performers and to experience the rehearsal process at first hand, as well as specific benefits such as complimentary tickets or CDs and accreditation.
We would be very happy to tell you about projects for which we are currently seeking funding.
Support our Musical Offerings programme
We seek funding for our charitable performances in hospices from grant-giving trusts and private individuals. We would be happy to discuss the programme with you in more detail.
Please to find out more about how you could help us.
