The first two tracks are the opening and closing movements of Bach's Cantata 147 - Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben given in Tewkesbury Abbey on July 6th as part of the Cheltenham Festival, which was broadcast Live by the BBC. The soloists are Julia Doyle, Robin Blaze, James Gilchrist and Peter Harvey. The orchestra is led by Lucy Russell and the trumpet is played by Bob Farley.

The subsequent tracks are part of the debut concert in Santiago de Compostela in 2008. This was a live recording using a simple two-microphone setup, but it gives a flavour of the event. The soloists are Gillian Keith, Daniel Taylor, James Gilchrist and Peter Harvey
